The Page Turners Book Club is wrapping up its latest read, "Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books", a novel that celebrates the power of books, stories, and community.

The book has inspired another exciting project at St. Stephen’s: the relaunch of our Little Free Library.

Several years ago, a local Girl Scout built a small library on our church property as a service project. This summer, we hope to bring it back to life by filling it with books for children in our community. Located next to Evergreen Elementary School, our church sees many children walk past each day on their way to and from school, making it the perfect place to encourage a love of reading.

A Little Free Library is an invitation to explore new stories, spark imagination, and build community. By providing free, 24/7 access to books, we hope to make reading more accessible and help keep young minds engaged all summer long.

If you have children's books to donate, we invite you to join us in this effort. Together, we can help foster a lifelong love of reading and create a welcoming resource for the families in our neighborhood.
