Back to School Picnic & Supply Drive

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, our church family came together for an afternoon of fellowship, food, and generosity at our Back to School Picnic.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who donated to our school supply drive. Because of your kindness, we collected a full table of much-needed items - backpacks, notebooks, markers, glue sticks, and more - along with over $100 in Staples gift cards. These supplies will be a huge blessing to local students and teachers as they prepare for the new school year.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the volunteers who made the picnic possible. Thank you to our Social Committee who organized the event and provided the food, to the team who helped with setup and cleanup, and to our fantastic grillers who kept the delicious food coming!

Beyond the food and donations, what made the day special was simply being together. It was a joy to see families catching up, and folks sharing laughter over around the table. Events like these remind us how meaningful it is to gather as a congregation and support one another.

If you didn’t get a chance to bring school supplies to the picnic, there’s still time! We’ll be collecting items throughout August. Look for the donation bin in the Narthex, and feel free to drop off any supplies or gift cards you’d like to contribute.
